Major Lockdown in China, 65 million restricted

China has imposed a major lockdown in country thus restricting travelling plans of more than 65 million.

Another major lockdown in China, biggest since Covid outbreak in 2020.

Another outbreak is reported in 103 states,  which is much more than the earliest reported one in 2020.

According to National Heath Commission, more than 1500 cases has been reported in last 24 hours.

China is strictly adhering to Zero-Covid policy despite less number of infections.

China’s one of the most important festival, “mid-autumn” is from 10th to 12th September. Hence government is taking all necessary steps to prevent spread of virus.

Covid-19 has taken a big toll on country’s economy. But government is keen on preventing spread of virus by adopting stricter measures.

Since pandemic, China has enforced hundreds of millions of people under strict lockdown thus sometimes restricting  them from basic amenities including food, travel, etc.

Criticism and anger over China’s stricter zero-Covid policy has erupted after a bus transporting residents to a covid quarantine facility crashed on Sunday, killing 27 people on 18th September.

Chinese authorities are yet to clear why the bus was carrying 27 people on mountain roads that too in midnight. Also the survivors of the bus crash are receiving treatment in hospital.
